Solution for high flow rates. Installation suitable for large civil and industrial systems.
Biorulli® Biorotors B 290
2.9 m disc diameter and concrete tankA solution with large-diameter biodiscs for sizable plants, but with the same simplicity of installation, operation and maintenance as all Biorulli® rotating biological contactor series: these are the Model B 290 Disc Rollers.
Simple installation. Compactness and limited need for civil works make it an easily manageable solution.
Cost-effective solution. Extremely low initial acquisition costs.
Modularity and scalability. Plants can be upgraded at later times by adding additional units.
Minimum lifecycle cost. Low acquisition, maintenance and resource utilization costs result in optimal return on investment.
Compactness and adaptability. They allow installation in different spatial configurations.
Biorulli® Biorotors B 290: description
The B-series Biorotor version of the Biorulli® biodisc oxidation system has some special features: the sandwich discs are mounted on a painted carbon steel tubular shaft and can have different diameters depending on the models: 2.00 m, 2.40 m or B 290. Of these, the B 290 version is the one with the largest diameter and is used in large plants.
The components of the biorotors, and of the B 290 version in particular, are solidly joined by means of tie rods, spokes, flanges and spokes made of hot-dip galvanized steel. The discs, on the other hand, are made of plastic material: on them the bacterial flora is formed, which carries out the process of biological oxidation of the nutrient in the effluent.
