Different technologies for industrial water treatment as well as cooling: since 1995 MITA Water Technologies has provided multiple solutions, together with partner MITA Cooling Technologies (now a business partner), for the complete water management of Vedani Group, which has been active in aluminum processing since 1982.
Vedani Group has been operating in the aluminum processing and metal treatment industry since 1982. Over time, it has faced challenges related to the significant growth in industrial production.
In 1995, the company had to manage two needs: the treatment of industrial wastewater and the cooling of vapors from production processes.
MITA Water Technologies, an expert in industrial wastewater treatment, responded to Vedani Group’s needs in 1995. They provided a complete package of process water and storm water treatment solutions. These solutions included:
MITA Water Technologies therefore designed a complete system to handle Vedani Group’s various water treatment needs. This complemented the evaporative towers of MITA Cooling Technologies, a partner of MITA Water Technologies, for cooling and condensing the client company’s process fluids. The cooling section was then renovated in 2006.

Efficiency and continuity of operation: continuous sand filters represent a classic solution that is easy to construct and operate for wastewater finishing. The MITA solution allows the filter medium, i.e., sand, to be separated from impurities by a unique patented washing system.
Mitadaf is the dissolved air flotation (DAF) system developed by MITA Water Technologies. Its outstanding efficiency in separating solids from liquid and thickening sludge comes from a unique approach that combines the use of microbubbles of air, produced by our Mitasat MS, with a uniform effluent hydrodynamic system.
The disc rollers, B 200 series, are the Biorulli® biodiscs biological oxidation solution: allowing high versatility in the face of widely varying effluent loads throughout the year. All this in conjunction with truly affordable acquisition costs.
Sand filters are a classic solution for tertiary treatment of municipal water: they are the solution proposed to an Irish engineering firm for the water treatment of a civil plant in Ireland. Ten FS 6/1.5 model filters for effective removal of suspended solids in the effluent.

MITA Water Technologies provided ESSO Italiana with wastewater treatment solutions at the coastal depots in Naples and Palermo.
